Here’s a running list of shoes with a wide toe box that are suited for various physical activities. As awareness spreads of how much our footwear choices can affect our performance and foot health, more options are popping up to meet the specific needs of different sports and recreational pursuits. Great list! Just ordered the Scarpa climbing shoes on your recommendation and am also on the hunt for wide-toebox friendly snowboarding shoes as well :) A common problem seems to be that a lot of these wide toebox shoes mean they are wide in the heel as they assume a bigger/fatter foot, and I have a very low volume foot with a narrow heel!
